Minutes from January 13,2007

 President Bill brought the meeting to order

Micki presented the minutes from the previous meeting.  Jacci asked that the minutes be amended to include the last names of the newly elected Board of Directors for banking purposes. Bob motioned to accept the minutes as amended, Judy 2^nd, motion passed.

 Jacci presented the Treasurer’s report. Bob motioned to accept the Treasurer’s report, Judy 2^nd, motion passed. After discussion, Micki mad a motion that the club stay with Sterling Bank instead of moving to Bank of America as voted on at the last meeting. Judy 2^nd and the motion passed.

Committee discussion

Entertainment Committee volunteers will be Darren, Judy and Micki with Judy as the chairperson.  Judy has a schedule of the dances and urged the BOD to sign up for dance duties.

Campout Committee / Tony Chairperson

After discussion, Bob made a motion to send a deposit to secure the campground at Turtletown. Shara 2^nd and motion passed. Jacci will send the deposit.

Membership/Outreach Committee/ Darren chairperson

John of John and Jody reported that he has already purchased a trailer frame for the new shower he is working on.

Darren presented the new binders he has put together for each Board member.

Micki brought up discussion on adjusting dance fee’s for single members.  After discussion Bob made a motion to charge single people $20 per person for the dances and Judy 2^nd. Motion passed.

Bob brought up discussion on new contracts for the rental of the hall from the American Legion and for the DJ contract. Bill stated he is working on developing new contracts.

 Bob made a motion to give board members 3 free dance passes to use at their discretion, Jacci 2^nd. Motion passed.

 Connie was voted on to the Board of Directors. Shara has decided to give up the secretary position and Connie is going to fill that position.
